When I create subs some letters look weird, different sizes or different fonts.

This often due to full caches and clearing your caches and reopening the Premiere pro project will often resolve the issue.

The other common cause of this is conflicting fonts. Check that you only have one version of the font installed and/or reinstall the font and then reopen your Premiere Pro project.
