Generating MOGRTs from SRT

Now that we have our .SRT file, we’re ready to open up SubMachine. When SubMachine opens, you’ll be greeted with a few video tutorials that go over some of these steps. To proceed beyond that click “Create!” You are now in the “Workflow” tab of SubMachine!
You will see our first two fields are “Short SRT” and “Mogrt.” Place the .SRT you just exported into this field in one of two methods: -Drag the file itself over the “Drop short SRT file here” field. -Click “Short SRT” and use the file browser on your computer to find and select the SRT. Now do the same with the Mogrt of your choosing. You can view and browse the features of the Mogrts provided with SubMachine here. Quick Tip: Your Mogrt and your sequence need to share the same frame rate. All of our SubMachine mogrts are provided in the common frame rates.
Before you click “Create Subs” - consider briefly how long you want your individual sentences to be. If you’re making a 9x16 vertical video, for example, it’s beneficial to limit how many words will appear on screen at a time. Our slider has recommendations for which aspect ratios may support the amount of maximum-characters you select.
Now it’s time to Create Subs! Do it, click the button!
