What's in the toolbox!?
Here’s a quick breakdown of the Tools tab: Sync Style To All: This feature will reference any selected mogrt on the timeline and propagate all non-phrase attributes to every other mogrt on the timeline. If you would like to add animation or color across the board, this is the way to do it. Sync Text Settings: Select the final mogrt of the phrase you'd like to edit. This will be your reference clip. Any changes in Effect Controls or phrase attributes (P) in the Mogrt will be applied to the entire phrase. Make your changes to the Last Mogrt in a phrase, then select all of the Mogrts in the phrase, and click the Sync Text Settings button to apply. Sync Style Settings: Works similarly as Text Settings, except it ignores all (P) values and focuses instead on animation, color, style, etc. Use your last mogrt as a reference and apply to the previous with a click. Reset Word Progressions: A bit clunkily named as of now, but this feature is very handy. If you need to add or remove words to a phrase, or create more or less mogrts for any reason, this button will help you reset the Word-Progression from 1. Simply select all of the mogrts in a phrase and click the button, and all of them will progress upward. Word -1 / +1: This button will either add or remove the word progression value for all selected mogrts.
Split & Join Selection: Isolates the selected mogrts into a new phrase across two different phrases. Will also remove the isolated words from the surrounding mogrts so there is no overlap. This tool combines the functions of “Split 1 Phrase” & “Join 2 Phrases”. Note that you will need to check the styling of the new phrase as the style is not copied across.
Split 1 Entire Phrase: This splits 1 whole phrase into 2 separate phrases. All the selected clips must be on 1 track and have the same source text. Note that you will need to check the styling of the new phrase as the style is not copied across.
Join 2 Entire Phrases: This joins 2 whole phrases together to create 1 phrase by merging their text fields and resetting the Word Progression count. The 2 phrases must be on separate tracks. Note that you will need to check the styling of the new phrase as the style is not copied across.
Reset All Mogrt Properties: This resets all the mogrt properties for all of the selected mogrt clips to the original mogrt settings. The only exceptions are the Word Progression (P) and the Text Input (P) source text. These will be ignored. The location of the playhead/CTI is not taken into account.
Reset Specific Mogrt Property: This resets 1 specific mogrt property (the name typed in the text box box below) for all of the selected mogrt clips to the original mogrt settings. The only exceptions are the Word Progression (P) and the Text Input (P) source text. These will be ignored. The location of the playhead/CTI is not taken into account.
